We are currently hiring for the position of Associate Auditor.

Job brief

As an Associate Auditor, you will be responsible for performing the statutory audits of various companies ranging from local to international clients. You will support managers and other auditors through a variety of tasks related to the audits, client relationship management and project management. You will also prepare financial statements, management reports and various tax returns for clients. You will be provided with adequate training and support in order to complete your tasks and you must ensure that your work is completed accurately, of high quality and delivered in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for performing the statutory audit for various companies ranging from small holding companies to medium-sized trading companies
  • Assist other auditors as requested
  • Report to Managers on daily tasks and client issues
  • Prepare the Financial Statements of companies
  • Prepare Management reports for the clients as requested
  • Prepare various tax returns

Requirements

  • Graduate with a Degree in Accounting or Finance or any other related field
  • Near to completion of ACCA studies or ACCA qualified, and with at least 3 years of audit experience in a reputable firm
  • Fluent in both Greek and English
  • Knowledge of Caseware Working papers is essential
  • Knowledge of Caseware Audit International will be considered an advantage
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong interpersonal and professional skills
  • Must have excellent analytical, time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and as a team member

We are currently hiring for the position of Accountant.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Report to the Director and Head of Accounting and Tax on daily tasks and client issues
  • Daily bookkeeping/accounting and recording transactions in the accounting system for International and Local Business Entities
  • Reconciliation of bank accounts, debtors and creditors
  • Preparation and submission of VAT, VIES and Tax Returns
  • Issuing of invoices
  • General administration duties such as filing
  • Assist auditors where appropriate

Requirements

  • LCCI – Level 3 Higher is required or any equivalent accounting qualification (note this is not a position for an ACCA trainee)
  • A degree in Accounting or Finance will be considered an advantage
  • 2-3 years of experience in an accounting role (preferably in an Accounts Department in an audit firm)
  • Fluent in both Greek and English (written and spoken)
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of the accounting software ESoft or Odoo will be considered an advantage
  • Must have very good analytical skills and time management skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work as a team member
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Strong interpersonal and professional skills
